About The Authors

Dr. Jennings is CEO of Remember You Matter Coaching and Founder of Boys Matter to Men Mentorship for boys. Dr. Jennings is an author, writer, and mental empowerment speaker. She is certified in mindfulness and an integrative wellness life coach providing kid, teen, adult, veteran, and business coaching, mentoring, and consulting services. Dr. Jennings is a Certified Executive and Organizational Development Leadership Coach, Intuitive Grief Coach, and Strategic Program and Curriculum Developer. She is a Certified MEASURE Educator at MEASURE of Austin.

Dr. Jennings enjoys writing, developing, and implementing empowering mental health curriculum and programs for people of all ages, showing that continual learning and development enhances participation, improves function, and strengthens community engagement.

Currently, Dr. Jennings resides in the Nolanville, Texas area, Dr. Jennings can relate to the everyday hectic lives and routines of families, and she knows firsthand how to successfully navigate life as a single parent of two teenagers ages 14 and 17.


Donte Jennings is the 17-year-old author of "Don't Quit", mental health advocate, motivational and inspirational speaker for Remember You Matter Coaching, Consulting, & Mentoring and an active mentee, advocate, and speaker for Boys Matter 2 Men a 501c3 nonprofit for boys ages 8-18.

Donte is the co-author for “Don’t Quit, This is Not the End” and the co-illustrator for “Buster, the Test Anxiety Crusher”  Donte co-authored “Don’t Quit" to share his story of overcoming his own mental health crisis to increase awareness and encourage youth, parents, family, friends, and others going through similar situations with people they love.

Donte’s story is one of hope and inspiration of the power of a mother’s love and a son’s determination to come back from the brink of mental illness and breakdown to embrace the power of mental resilience. Donte and his mother believe that in life, many people experience tests and trials. However, it is in finding the courage to share your voice and experiences with others that you can tap into the strength to turn your test into your testimony and your mess into your message.

Donte enjoys running track and playing the piano. He is passionate about speaking on the topic of youth and young adult mental resilience.  He shares his personal story of overcoming his own mental health crisis in hopes to increase awareness, bring hope, and encourage youth, parents, family members, friends or community members who may be experiencing similar situations.


Deliya Suneen Jennings is a 14-year-old ninth grader. Deliya is the co-author of “Women to Girls”. She is also the co-illustrator for “Buster, the Test Anxiety Crusher”  Deliya co-authored “Women to Girls" with a desire to share with women of all ages how to relate better with girls. Deliya hopes that her book will help women and girls all around the world develop closer relationships and lasting bonds by making and treasuring fun memories, moments, and experiences.

Personally, Deliya loves running track, cross country, and playing soccer. She has a unique eye for fashion. Deliya is funny and creative, and she loves making other people laugh. Her wisdom and infectious smile bring joy into the lives of others.
